Vacationing .. during a pandemic (?)
We threw caution to the wind and decided to head down to Savannah for a few days. Things have been a rollercoaster for over two years now (starting pre-pandemic) and after Bella passed away, we decided that we needed to just go *do* something as a family, to take a break from reality and be in a moment that wasn't grief and stress.

Got to the hotel, got checked in, went up to the room ... to find it was already occupied! What the hell?! Went back down to reception and they put us in another room. I was worried that that would be a sign of what was to come, but that was the only snafu!

My girl is gone
Can't stop crying. Cancer is a bitch and now my pupper is gone, taking a piece of me with her. Diagnosed with late-stage lymphoma in June, she fought until she could fight no more.

Wipeout!
Tripped and went flying at work today. Hit o hard that I blacked out for a second. If it hadn't been for my glasses, I'd have a much bigger black eye. *Sigh*. I'm already starting to hate this job, this just adds to it - especially because I was treated less like a person and more like paperwork to fill out and brush off.
