Is ... is that me sitting down to write?
I've been writing! Yes, it's been a trickle the last two years. BUT ... I think I might have this new book (LDN Book 2) done in time for the winter hols- which is good because it takes place during Christmas/New Year! Stay Tuned!

Goats
My cousin Lauren passed away in May of last year. I'm still not okay. I doubt that will ever change. Today is her birthday. She ADORED goats. And in her honor, we took a trunk full of wishlist items (animal feed, bedding, etc) to a local animal rescue. I bawled my eyes out as I fed the goats. They didn't care. They were too busy doing funny goat things while trying to push each other out of the way to get to the food. Kiddo was having NONE of it. The owners took us around and showed us all the different knids of animals they look after and try to find homes for. I'm loving their place/mission so we plan on donating (items/time) as we can! Maybe one day kiddo won't be so afraid of the goats.

Fingers Crossed
As much as we needed to gtfo of Florida, life in NC didn't start out as smooth as we hoped. Then throw in a global pandemic (that we both still had to go in to work during!!) and a shittastic 2021 and I'm going into this year with my fingers crossed that this year will be a bit nicer. Though, I doubt it'll happen, I'm still *trying* to hold onto hope.
